I'm back people!

It has been so long I have had to reset all my passwords just to get back into everything. So, I am not putting up a poem today I am just letting you know that I am still here.

I disappeared for multiple reasons, the usual struggle with my health, the day-to-day grind and I achieved my lifelong dream of training and qualifying as a teacher which took up all my brain space to be honest. #traineeteacher #teacherlife

I post and blog because it helps me to feel like I am helping others with my lived experience and knowledge of how shit things can be. I also hope that I use some of my work to show that it can get better and it doesn't have to be shit all of the time but life is a complete rollercoaster and just because you're up doesn't mean you are staying up but in the same breath just because you are down doesn't mean you are staying there either. #lifeisarollercoaster

One of the things that helps me to be me is posting my poetry and blogging as well as eating sweets and enjoying time with families and friends. You have to do you! #youdoyou

Over the next few days I will check over old content such as support numbers and ensure these are all up to date and I will be going through my poetry to see what I have posted previously, what I can post and what new content I need to create. I will also be putting a plan together for making sure I have a high social media presence for specific dates over the next year, particularly ones around mental health as you all know this is one of my many passions.

I was recently asked to write a poem as though I was Juliet just before she stabbed herself at Romeo's side so for all you Shakespeare and Romeo and Juliet fans out there - Watch this space.
