I am standing here

The noose round my neck;

I am living in fear

There’s no one to check.

I can’t breathe, I can’t live

I’m too scared to complete,

My life; I need to give

Death I cannot cheat!

I need it to stop

The voices to silence;

The rope needs to drop

There is no need for violence;

Why can’t I do it,

I need to be strong

My life, I should quit

In this world do I belong?

I need to be brave

Find the courage to die;

Keep my loved ones safe

It is my time to fly.
